Jonathan Moffett - "Tribute to Michael Jackson" Tour - WORLD DEBUT!
Jonathan “Sugarfoot” Moffett has played drums for Michael Jackson and the Jackson family for 30 years and would have performed with Michael on his ‘THIS IS IT’ Tour.
Moffett began playing drums at the early age of 6 and at 12 earned the nickname "Sugarfoot" due to his fast and articulate bass drum work, playing 16th and even 32nd note figures within his funky and relentless grooves!
Jonathan has also performed and/or recorded with the world’s biggest acts: Madonna, George Michael, Elton John and Julian Lennon. He’s appeared on television shows such as Good Morning America, Saturday Nite Live and Arsenio Hall. Along with Jonathan's impressive list of credits, he is a proud inductee into the marquis 'Who's Who Journals' including: 'Who's Who in America'; 'Who's Who in the West' and 'Who's Who in the World'!

The Beatles 'Let It Be' 40th Anniversary Celebration
A massive three hour concert compéred by Jeff Phillips and featuring some of Australia's greatest musical talents including Darryl Cotton, Brian Mannix, Marcie Jones, Billy Miller and the award winning Beatels performing the entire 'Let It Be' album with original instruments from the era! A never before seen Herald Sun archive photographic exhibition featuring images of The Beatles from their 1964 Tour of Australia will also be on display at Allans Music + Billy Hyde from September 29.

Music Fest is Queensland’s Premier School Band Festival. Music Fest provides the opportunity for schools from all over Queensland to compete in the public arena in a number of categories:
- Concert Bands
- Jazz Ensembles
- String Ensembles
- Orchestras
- Choirs
Held throughout October at Iona College, Calamvale Community College and Ferny Grove SHS Ralph Took Auditorium, Music Fest employs eminent music educators as adjudicators for all categories.
